More Blasts From The Past.

OK, enough about me.  Being that I've been living in the past lately, let's share some excellent ads from the past.
retro daisy rifles for christmas ad
Back in, oh, I'd say 1968, Christmas gift giving was so easy.

retro modess ad 1966
Even in 1966, the purpose of Modess was still a closely guarded secret.

retro ad camel cigarettes calm your nerves.
Here's the remedy for those nicotine withdrawl jitters.

retro toy atomic energy lab Now with bigger Barium rods!
Here's a little something to keep Junior occupied.

These should ensure Janie's popularity in high school.  Or middle school.

Be sure to keep Baby safe.

And don't forget to keep Hubby happy!

Nowadays, if a family gave each other guns for Christmas, put sodas in baby's bottles, encouraged teenage smoking, and allowed the husband to spank the wife, social services would called in.

STM, you're no doubt right. So I've replaced the cola ad with a guaranteed real one for wallpaper laced with DDT for baby's safety against deadly bugs.

GGW, I never reveal my sources!

Those ciggie ads are seductive! I'd like one now and I haven't even smoked in 5 years.
