Let's start with this gem. For reasons unknown to all, chimps enjoyed superstar status in the 50's and 60's. PETA will probably come after me for using the term "enjoyed". Lighten up, PETA, or I'll post sea kitten recipes.

I don't know about you, but there are days I'd like to be this mom, weird Peter Pan shoes and all.

I don't know where to begin correcting this cover.

I'm totally digging the she-devil's tail. Not to mention her giant dessert fork.

From Stephen King's childhood record collection.

I've never seen happier kids.

El Plenero Con El Dildo.

Saul T. Peter.

Whew. Now I need a smoke. Cheers!

The songs on the Saul T Peter album! Squint and read them, they're hilarious! I guess that's why the woman is having a smoke on the kitchen counter... !!
And what music, pray tell, makes housework go easier?
Salty Peter? [Groan.]
where do you find all this stuff?!?
I remember some of those types of ads from my grandmother's McCalls magazines. ;-)
Saltpeter?! Funny!
I have to get out the magnifyer and read those song titles.
And that relaxing-on-the-counter-lady obviously put on that album when her maid showed up, and then took off with her ladyfriends who do lunch.
I was around in the 50's and 60's. NOBODY'S mom cleaned in tight skirt, tucked-in blouse and heels. They wore peddle pushers or baggy pants and their beat-up sleeveless shirts. And Aunt Jemima kerchiefs around their hair, while chain smoking cigarettes.

I just keep re-reading this--so dang funny! The last should be framed and hung on my wall.
Holy shit, woman! Where did you find these gems????
OMG, "She Loves Her Peter" hahahaha! And "Oooh, Have I Got Hot Nuts for You," what a romantic! Just in time for Valentine's Day! Where do I get my copy??
Also love "Karate for the Family," - I would totally exercise regularly if I could beat up my family!
Oh, I had to send you this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8NleLzx2Gk
The answer to "How Do Worms Make Love?"
And on the second look, I noticed it's "He's the Queen of Fire Island." Are they sure that one was For Women Only?
